Hi. I am hoping to bring two of light up wand toys with the length of 21 inches in Disney world parks Florida. They never look like any weapons, but only snow flakes. Am I allowed?

    Happy Holidays, Pal!

I'm absolutely thrilled to welcome you to planDisney and help with your question today! It looks like your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is happening right on Christmas Day...how exciting is that?! You're in for what's sure to be the most holly jolly holiday ever! There's something truly special about experiencing the holidays at Disney. It's a season full of wonder, joy, and pure holiday magic! I'm sure you're busy like Santa, checking your list not once but twice, to make sure everything is perfectly set for your visit, so let's go ahead and dash right into your question!

Bringing light-up toys from home is a fantastic, budget-friendly way to add a little extra festive fun to your park day with your little ones. We used to do this with my boys when they were younger, and it always made the day feel more magical. Glow sticks work wonderfully, too! I'm happy to share that, according to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, as long as your toys don't resemble firearms or other weapons, they are allowed in the parks. This is such a simple way to keep the kids entertained when waiting for parades or fireworks to begin, and adding a little extra pixie dust to your day.

I'm not sure which park you're planning to visit on Christmas Day, but the good news is that all four Disney theme parks are sprinkled with holiday touches. Whether you're strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., exploring EPCOT's International Festival of the Holidays, enjoying the Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom, or experiencing Sunset Seasons Greetings at Hollywood Studios, you're sure to find plenty of holiday cheer around every corner.

Thanks again for bringing your question to us at planDisney! Wishing you a holiday season that's merry and bright!

    Merry Wishes,

    Kami
