I am hoping to book the surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon for our family of 4? Will it be OK For my DD8? She is a very strong swimmer & this could be a huge highlight..kids really want to try surfing but I don't want to chance it if it will be hard.

Sherri, I was beyond excited when I saw your question because I just booked Typhoon Lagoon Surf Lessons for myself, my 11 year-old daughter and my parents today! We're all so excited. I think it's THE perfect spot to try surfing! Eight year olds are permitted, and I think given she's comfortable in the water, she'll have a blast! You'll be there before the park opens, and a maximum of 12 surfers will enjoy two and a half hours of lessons and surfing. So fun! I think it's a fantastic idea, especially for we Ontarians who don't have close access to the big waves of the ocean!

    Kowabunga Sherri!!
