Hi! Hoping to book a cruise soon! Does anyone know of you can use multiple gift cards to pay for a cruise? Is there a limit? Thanks!!

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for sailing by planDisney with this question. We're so happy to "sea" you here! I'm thrilled that you're thinking about booking a Disney Cruise Line sailing. We've made some magical family memories on three of the fleet's ships so far, and look forward to sailing to more destinations in the coming years. Whether you're hoping to visit the Caribbean, explore the natural wonders of Alaska, or soak in the splendor of Europe, there truly is an itinerary and vessel to satisfy every sailor.

I reached out to a Disney Cruise Line Crew Member who confirmed that there is no limit on the number of gift cards you can use to reserve your voyage. However, she did indicate that it's best to call in when applying multiple gift cards to a single reservation. Once you've narrowed down your desired itinerary you can call 800-939-2784 for further booking assistance.

I'd like to share a few extra tips about Disney Gift Cards in hopes of making your booking process go as smoothly as possible. First, you can visit disneygiftcard.com and create an account to manage up to 6 gift cards at a time. The site will allow you to quickly transfer card balances, combining multiple cards into one up to $1,000. This would be especially helpful if you are planning to pay with a lot of smaller value gift cards. Second, it's important to maintain possession of your gift cards through your completed sailing as any refunds or credits will go back to the original form of payment in the event of cancelation.

Now that you've streamlined your payment process all that's left to decide is when and where you'd most like to sail. We've made sure to visit Disney Castaway Cay on each of our voyages to date and we absolutely love biking around the island and splashing in the crystal blue waters. I already have my eye on one of the 2024 Halloween on the High Seas itineraries that stops at both Disney Castaway Cay and Lighthouse Point, a brand-new Bahamian destination debuting next year.

You're sure to discover the perfect itinerary to suit your travel party, but if you need any recommendations or have additional questions please sail back and let us know. We're always glad to help.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
