I am hoping to take advantage of EMH at Epcot at 8am for a while and then get to a late breakfast at the Polynesian resort at 10:45. What is the best way to get from Epcot to the Polynesian and how much time should I allow? Thank you!

    Hi Katie,

I love hearing that you'll be able to squeeze some magic and fun in before a delicious breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! I'm not sure if you'll be dining at 'Ohana or Kona Cafe, but they each offer one of my two favorite Disney breakfasts...Mickey-shaped Waffles or Tonga Toast. Mmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about them!

To get there from Epcot, you can ride the iconic monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there you have two options: transfer to the Resort Monorail and ride one stop to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or enjoy a peaceful stroll over there. Either way, I'd allow at least 30 minutes from the time you leave Epcot to get to the restaurant. I don't like to worry that I'll be late and miss a reservation, so if I were you, I'd start heading out from Epcot about an hour prior to my reservation. If you happen to arrive early, that Resort hotel is GORGEOUS, so you can enjoy all of the immersive details while you wait. Now, if you want to be able to stay at Epcot a little longer, the Minnie Van Service will be the quickest way to get to your breakfast. You'll simply use the Lyft app to request a ride, and this adorable, polka-dotted service can take you directly to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in about ten minutes or so for a small fee.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
