In 2025 we hope to stay at Grand Californian. 13 people consisting of 2 grandparents their 3 kids with their spouses and 5 grandchildren. 2 of the couples have 2 children and 1 couple has 1 child. What is the biggest suite and will it accommodate everyone?

Hi there, Debbie, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question and my, what a wonderful family gathering your trip is shaping up to be! There's nothing better than enjoying the Disneyland Resort with a large group of close family and I hope that you're having fun planning out your vacation. Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a wonderful property and the closest to the Theme Parks, so you've chosen well.

From what I gathered from your question, you are a party of 8 adults and 5 children. I'm not sure what bed or bedroom configuration you would need for four separate family units, so I'll present a couple of options. Thankfully, planDisney has released a handy pocket guide to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa which lays out all the room configurations for you to examine in one place. For your visit, it looks like these will work:

    • 2 Bedroom Suite - This room type sleeps up to 11 Adults and comes in several different configurations: 4 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper
Sofa or 2 King Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair
or 1 King Bed and 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa or 2 King Beds
and 1 Day Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair or
4 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa.
    • 3 Bedroom Suite - This is the largest regular suite offered at this Hotel and can sleep up to 12 Adults. Configurations include: 2 King Beds and 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper
Sofa and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair or 1 King Bed and 4 Queen Beds and
1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa or 2 King Beds and 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed and
      1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair.

The next step up would be to consider the 3 Bedroom Suites from the Signature Suites Collection. These would be the ultimate in luxury at an already luxurious Hotel but I know that your family would have a fantastic time! Look for Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages and Hotel reservations for next year to be released around late summer this year and be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for this announcement!

Debbie, I hope that this was helpful information for you. Please feel free to write again if you have further questions because we'd love to continue being involved in your vacation! Reach out anytime and we'll see ya real soon!

Wish You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
