Hi Yasmijn! Well, this is a novel idea! I can understand your thinking that the family members sleeping in the living room may not have as much privacy as the others and that the individual, wooded plots of land where the Treehouse Villas sit could accommodate a tent. However, I called the Saratoga Springs Resort about your question, and the cast members there indicated that guests are not permitted to sleep in tents outside the Treehouses. (Tents are permitted only at the Fort Wilderness campground.)
Florida can be quite hot, and there can be quite a few insects in the woods, so even though the living room may not be totally private, your family likely would be more comfortable sleeping there than the tent. Perhaps the early risers could sleep in the living room, or if other family members wake up early, they could relax outside on the deck and enjoy the quiet, forest surroundings until those sleeping in the living room rise? I know when my family is at Walt Disney World, we're so tired from our busy days in the parks that we all sleep deeply and tend to wake up early ready for another exciting day, so hopefully these sleeping arrangements will work fine for your family!
Thanks for asking me your question! Please come visit me again at the Moms Panel if I can help! Hope you have a magical trip!
