Hello, I hope you are doing well. My family and I have our Christmas trip to Disney all booked but we are having difficulty making a reservation for new year’s eve dinning at Epcot, are there no reservations allowed for Dic. 31st or os everything booked?

    Hello there, Fabianna!

A very warm welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with a delightful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! Your enchanting holiday at The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short weeks away. I can't imagine a more magical way to spend the holiday season than by ringing in the New Year at the Walt Disney World Resort! I'd be happy to help you prepare for an unforgettable escape.

Fabianna, I'm sorry to hear you're running into trouble while searching for a dining reservation during your visit. New Year's Eve is a tremendously popular date to visit EPCOT, as there are usually DJ-hosted dance parties hosted throughout the World Showcase! You're in for an incredible time, no matter what kinds of entertainment are present at this year's celebration. Unfortunately, possibly due to the popularity of visiting EPCOT on this date, it looks like most dining reservations have already been snatched up at this time. However, I did see a couple of reservations remaining at Takumi-Tei, an upscale sushi restaurant in the Japan pavilion, and at Sebastian's Bistro, a restaurant at the nearby Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offering a Caribbean-inspired menu.

I'd recommend keeping a close eye on dining reservation availability leading up to your visit, Fabianna. I'd expect cancelations to happen between now and then, so you never know what you might be able to snag, even last-minute! If nothing else, you may be able to join the walk-up waitlist for a restaurant at EPCOT on the day of your visit using the mobile dine walk-up availability functionality in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Alternatively, you could grab dinner at one of the fantastic Quick-Service restaurants inside the theme park. Sunshine Seasons and Connections Eatery are a couple of my personal favorites!

Fabianna, I hope you've found these recommendations helpful as you gear up for an exciting holiday celebration at The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any additional questions before your trip, please feel free to revisit us here at planDisney again anytime! We're all ears.

    See ya real soon,
