Is the Hoop-De-Doo Revue worth seeing for a 5 year old?

Our family Hoop De Doos it every year. My younger girls were four when they first saw it and they loved it. I think a five year old would be at the age to really start to "get" some of the corny jokes and silly songs. We always leave with a great big smiles on our faces.

One thing to be aware of: there is a fixed menu here. I think the food (ribs, chicken) is great, but I do have Miss Picky Eater that lives with me. They always make her a special plate of mac'n'cheese. If your princess is not super-happy with her food, then just ask and they'll bring you something else.

While you're at Fort Wilderness, be sure to check out the cute little petting zoo right next to Pioneer Hall. If you arrive early enough, you might be able to go for a pony ride while you wait for the show.

Hope you have a great trip!
