    At the Hoop-De-Doo Review (did I spell that right? :-), is there any other dessert option besides Strawberry Shortcake? My husband doesn't eat fruit. I know... weird.

    As the mother of a non-fruit-eating child, I completely understand your situation.

    Strawberry shortcake is the standard dessert that is served to everyone in the restaurant. My no-fruit daughter simply scrapes off the strawberries and eats the cake and cream parts. She's a loon, that kid :-)

    My father, on the other hand, has a true allergy to strawberries. When I took him to the Hoop Dee Doo, we told our server about his situation. She was very accommodating and brought him a chocolate dessert instead. Any time you have an food issue, for allergies or personal preference, at any of the Disney restaurants or dinner shows, just let Disney Dining know and they will accommodate you if at all possible. You should tell Disney Dining about your husband's request when you make your reservation at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) and also remind your server when you are seated at your meal.
