We will be at Hoop Dee Doo on March 18, 2019 for the 6:15 dinner and we wanted to take the horse drawn carriage and debating on the time to take whether before (5:30) perhaps too tight or after show (concerned if too dark) Can you help with suggestions?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Manuela! Your magical vacation is right around the corner! Have you packed your Mickey ears yet? Thanks for stopping in again with your question!

You are definitely in for a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. The show is so funny and entertaining. The food is delicious, but my favorite part is the dessert. It’s strawberry shortcake perfection!

I think a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride is a lovely idea. The experience is 25 minutes long, so you may have just enough time before your 6:15 p.m. reservation to take your ride.

You can always enjoy a ride after your dinner reservation. After all, this experience will be open for guests until 10:00 p.m.. The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are very well lit, and I’m sure your ride will be enjoyable at any time. If you do it after dinner, you also give yourself and your party some time to digest and enjoy the scenery of this beautiful outdoor resort!

Manuela, the best way to make your reservation for a carriage ride is by calling (407) 939-7529. It’s best to call ahead, to make sure your desired time is available.

I hope I’ve been able to help you out! Please feel free to send us any additional questions you might have. Helping you with all the details of your next magical vacation is our pleasure!
