how do I hook up my magic band to my annual pass?

Happy New Year, Ahva, and thank you for being a member of the Passholder Family! Make sure to check out the Passholder Extras page on the Walt Disney World website for exclusive offers and benefits.

Your Annual Pass should already appear in your My Disney Experience account. And since MagicBands can access the plans, tickets, and vacation choices you've made with My Disney Experience, your Annual Pass will also automatically connect to your MagicBand. It's just like magic...Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! If either your AP or MagicBand is not linked, follow the prompts on the website; if you are using your app, click the 'Link to Account' option. I also recommend carrying your AP card with you to the theme parks, just in case.

You may already know, Ahva, but Annual Passholders no longer receive a complimentary MagicBand. Instead, they can use previous MagicBands they already have linked to their Disney account (this is what I'm guessing you'll do) or buy a new MagicBand (with their AP discount). My teenage son forgot his MagicBand on our recent trip, and he downloaded the new Disney MagicMobile Service on his phone; he could use it to enter the theme parks and charge to our Disney Resort hotel folio during our stay. I'm not super tech-savvy, but I had a Cast Member at Guest Services assist me. Use My Disney Experience to set it up, and it will appear in your phone's Wallet app!

I hope this helps, Ahva! Have a magical stay next week, and please write back if you have any other questions.
