To be honest, we need help !! Not sure where to start, we are arriving at the end of June for two weeks from the UK with our Star Wars mad 3 year old boy and 6 year old princess. We need some ideas of best activities for the Magic Kingdom that we can miss

Hello, Martin! I bet your children are getting so excited about their upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! My daughter and I always have such a great time exploring the many attractions and Disney Character meet 'n' greets at Walt Disney World.

The best place to get your fill of Star Wars fun is at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If your son has reached a height of at least 40 inches, he might enjoy Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. This is a fantastic 3D, motion-simulated ride that blasts Guests to a galaxy far, far away. Once you exit this ride, make sure to stop by Tatooine Traders so that your son can build his own lightsaber! Just across from Tatooine Traders is a nice little replica of a Star Wars speeder bike that serves as an excellent spot to take a picture of your young Padawan.

Some other fun experiences that your space explorer might enjoy are Toy Story Midway Mania!, also at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Astro Orbiter and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom Park. None of these rides have a height requirement, so your son should be able to enjoy these if Star Tours is out of his reach or comfort level.

There are many opportunities for your daughter to indulge her Princess Disney Side at Walt Disney World, too. Some of my 5-year old's favorites are Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under The Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid, and the Disney Princess meet 'n' greet opportunities at Magic Kingdom Park. She also really enjoys getting dolled up at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! This experience is an additional cost, and you will need to make reservations if you choose this experience for your princess.

I hope that you and your family have a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Martin! If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me here at the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
