We are a homeschooling family (that is obsessed with Disney!!!) and our oldest son wants to "graduate" in Magic Kingdom. Who do I contact to inquire about a character presenting my son with his diploma (we are there Sept 2022)?

    Hi Brittany!

What a fun idea to have your son "graduate" at Walt Disney World! Disney's Magic Kingdom would be the perfect place to celebrate such a momentous occasion!

I have a few suggestions to make this experience magical for your son. You can meet Mickey in Town Square at Magic Kingdom. I do want to advise that due to health and safety protocols, Mickey appears behind the rope to allow for physical distancing. As such, at the current time, he cannot "hand" your son with his diploma. However, you have a few alternatives. You can bring a diploma and have your son hold it while taking a photo with Mickey. It would be so much fun to get graduation Disney ears embroidered with his name. He can wear these ears in the photo!

You can also consider a photo session using Capture Your Moment. A Disney photographer will spend 20 minutes with your family to get some great custom shots in front of Cinderella Castle. Your son can bring a graduation gown and wear his custom graduation Mickey ears for this special photo. You can book this online or by calling 407-939-7758.

Another option is to leverage Disney Meetings & Events to help you plan an amazing graduation party or ceremony. The options are limitless when working with this team and they can definitely help you make this a special moment for your son.

Please tell your son congratulations from planDisney!
    Magically,
