Hello, Nezar! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple is such a fun experience for younglings between the ages of 4 and 12 as they test their mettle against the Dark Side of the Force. When my daughter participated, she was a little nervous about facing off against Darth Vader, but her Jedi guide helped her wield her lightsaber with confidence and defeat the evil Lord. To sign her up for the experience, though, my husband made sure to arrive with her a good 45 minutes prior to the opening of
Disney’s Hollywood Studios that day. Since sign-ups begin at Park opening (including when it opens for
Extra Magic Hours), I think you can expect needing to be at the Park around 5:15 a.m. (as long as you're an official
Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest) for the best chances of securing your spot for the day. Also make sure any of your children who want to participate in the experience are with you when you sign up.
When
Toy Story Land opened last year, early morning Extra Magic Hours began at 7 a.m., and Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple registration began at that time, too. With the
extra, Extra Magic Hours this Fall, I think we can expect the same with Guests allowed through bag check, security, and the ticket touchpoints prior to official Park opening and then being held in an area on Hollywood Boulevard until extra, Extra Magic Hours officially begin.
In case things change, though, I would recommend staying tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for more information as your arrival date approaches. Since you’re visiting in early October, the extra, Extra Magic Hours will have been in place for more than a month by the time you arrive. By that point we should have a better handle on the crowd levels and expectations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios after
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opens Aug. 29.
Best of luck to you and your little Jedis, Nezar! May the Force be with you.
Amy
