Hi Jennifer! Welcome back to planDisney!
As a child did you ever wish to have a magical evening like Cinderella and take a ride in her horse-drawn carriage? It sounds like tonight may be a dream come true! The
Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground may not be bringing you to the ball but I promise it will feel just as magical!
There are a few ways to travel from
Disney's Hollywood Studios to your enchanted evening carriage ride. When exiting Disney's Hollywood Studios you can simply board the complimentary
Disney Bus Transportation straight to
Disney's Fort Wilderness. Once you've arrived you'll hop an internal bus to the Settlement Depot Bus Stop where you'll hop off and head near
Crockett's Tavern to board your ride. Because of the extra bus ride you'll need to take I would suggest planning for at least 1.5-2 hours of travel time from point A to point B.
Another option would be to
jump on a bus from Hollywood Studios straight to Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom you can head to the boat launch and take a beautiful and scenic
water taxi ride to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The water taxi will drop you off just minutes away from your intended destination.
If you arrive even earlier than expected you may think about taking a quick walk through the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Here, you'll be able to see Cinderella's ponies and the horses that waltz down Main Street U.S.A. I was able to check out this (as Disney calls it)"Neigh"-borhood during a recent trip to
Walt Disney World Resort and I was blown away by the amazing stable and the incredible Disney details you can find inside. I would highly recommend checking it out!
Here's to hoping your Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride is all you've ever dreamed of!
