how do i get to hollywood studios from epcot

You actually have three options in getting from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Which one you choose will depend on where you are at Epcot and what kind of mood you're in:

    - Bus. If you are in the Future World area of Epcot (near the Spaceship Earth "golfball"), you should exit the park's main gate. Follow the signs to the bus pick-up area. There will be a direct bus from there to DHS.

    - Boat. If you are in the World Showcase area of Epcot, exit the park via the International Gateway, located between the England and France pavilions. On the left, just outside the gate, you'll find the dock for the free Friendship boats. These boats stop at the Boardwalk area resorts with a final destination of Hollywood Studios.

    - Walk. DHS is just about a mile away from Epcot. If you are in the World Showcase, exit via the International Gateway. Pass by the boat dock. Bear left as soon as you can. This will take you past the Boardwalk hotel. Follow the signs along the path to DHS. I have done this a few times when I was particularly motivated, but on a hot day it might be best to save your energy and take the boat or bus.

Have a great time at Walt Disney World!
