How do I get from Hollywood Studio's to Epcot?

    Hiya Regina,

I am so glad that you popped back over to see us at planDisney. It sounds like you have some park hopping planned for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We love adding the Park Hopper option to our theme park tickets, as it gives us the chance to enjoy multiple parks all in one day.

Great news! There are a number of complimentary Resort Transportation options to move from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. First, you could take the Friendship boat that runs from one theme park to the other along Crescent Lake. The loading dock is off to the left once you exit Disney's Hollywood Studios and boats leave about every 20 minutes. The boat will make a few stops at the Swan and Dolphin Resort, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort and Disney's Boardwalk Resort, before the final stop at EPCOT's International Gateway entrance, so you should plan 30-45 minutes for the trip, but it is a wonderful ride along the lake with plenty of sights to enjoy.

Another option is to jump on the Skyliner and head towards Disney's Rivera Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You will be able to transfer at either of these Disney Resort Collection hotels and head over to EPCOT. While it may not offer the same views as the Skyliner or the boat, you could also choose to take a Disney bus to get from the one park to the other. Simply exit Disney's Hollywood Studios and proceed to the bus boarding area, looking for the bus stop for EPCOT. One difference with the bus is you will be dropped off near the front entrance to EPCOT where the boat and Skyliner boarding areas are at the International Gateway located near Canada and France.

If you are looking to add a few more steps to your daily workout, another fun option is to walk from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. Trust me - it is closer than you think. You would follow the walkway past the bus boarding area and follow the sidewalk along Crescent Lake to Disney's Boardwalk Resort. You would then be able to stroll along the boardwalk to the International Gateway entrance. If the weather is pleasant and we are not short on time, this is actually our favorite choice. Lastly, if you are short on time or simply looking for a more personalized mode of transportation, you could opt for a Minnie Van operated through Lyft. Utilizing the Lyft mobile app you would select your pickup and drop off location, being sure to choose the Minnie Van option if that is your preference, and for a small cost, you will find yourself on the way.

I hope this helps you keep your day rolling along without any speedbumps. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me.

    T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
    Margaret
