When at Hollywood studios, can I make a droid and buy larger Star Wars merchandise to have it temporarily stored at the park until I am ready to leave?

Bright suns, Kristen, and may the Force be with you during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm so glad you chose planDisney to help you prepare for your voyage to a galaxy far, far away. Let's look at options for storing your purchases when you visit Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

No visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios is complete without a meander around Batuu. I've been a lifelong Star Wars fan, while my husband prefers classic Disney. But even he was wowed by the theming in Galaxy's Edge and always races to be a pilot on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The Star Wars merchandise is phenomenal, so I completely support your plan to go on a shopping spree!

While guests can no longer store items with Guest Services at the theme parks, you have some options. Locker Rentals are available in all four theme parks, and the good news is that you can use the locker all day to store souvenirs, jackets, and even snacks. You can enjoy the park completely unencumbered! Lockers are available on a first-come basis, so my tip is to grab one when you first arrive. My pal Ashley has some fabulous tips for getting the most bang from your locker!

Another option is to have your items shipped home. I recently bought two adorable (but rather large) Mickey-shaped throw pillows at my Disney Resort hotel gift shop. The Cast Members were happy to package and ship them to my home address. When they arrived a few days later, it helped ease the sting of the post-Disney blues! You can also take your purchases to the Guest Shipping Center at Disney Springs, discussed here by my friend LeAndra.

Kristen, I hope you avoid the First Order and have a magical time on and off-planet this week. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I have a GOOD feeling about this!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
