Hi! Going to Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom and I’m staying offsite. I have a free shuttle to the TTC, what is the best method for getting to each of these parks from there? Or should I plan to schedule Lyfts to get to these parks? Thanks!

Welcome to planDisney, Lindsey, and howdy from a fellow resident of the Bluegrass State! You're probably packed and ready to head to Walt Disney World Resort, so let's talk about how you can arrive at the theme parks in style!

How fabulous to have a free shuttle to the Transportation and Ticket Center! This area is a hub of activity, so you'll be in the middle of the action. Once the shuttle drops you off, you'll head to the security checkpoint. You can hop on the monorail or a ferryboat to Magic Kingdom Park from there. Follow signage to the complimentary resort buses. Look for a board specifying which bus stops will pick up for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can also ask any Cast Member for directions. Sit back and leave the driving to Disney!

A more direct method would be to pay for a rideshare service from your offsite hotel. This will likely get you to the theme park entrances more quickly, but I enjoy starting my day aboard the monorail or sailing across Seven Seas Lagoon. The choice is yours!

Once you're on Walt Disney World Resort property, Minnie Vans are available through the Lyft app to take guests anywhere they'd like to go. Talk about a magical way to travel. Those red and white polka-dotted vehicles are as festive as a pumpkin coach, but you don't have to be home by midnight!

Lindsey, I hope you have safe travels and make some memories to treasure this week. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll gladly help you from "My Old Kentucky Home!"

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
