If the Holiday cerebration is over on January 7th, Does that mean the Paint the Night parade will start up again on January 8th? Out sole purpose of our trip is to be there for the parade. We're looking at being there January 12th through 16th.

Welcome to planDisney, Katherine! A Disneyland visit in January has a special charm all its own. The twinkle of the holiday lights may have faded, but the Resort still feels alive with winter magic. There are the crisp mornings, cozy evenings, and that unmistakable sense of anticipation as Guests look forward to a brand-new year of Disney fun. I’m glad you asked about the return of the Paint the Night parade, because I know many Guests (myself included!) will be excited to see those dazzling floats light up Main Street again.

At this time, Paint the Night is confirmed to return following its seasonal break, but the exact date of its reappearance has not been announced. The official Daily Events Calendar only shows entertainment schedules through October of this year, so we don’t yet have an update for early 2026. The best way to stay in the know is by checking the Disney Parks Blog and the Daily Events Calendar regularly. Both are excellent sources for information about entertainment schedules, so you’ll be the first to know when the parade is set to roll again.

Even if Paint the Night isn’t running during your January visit, you’ll still find plenty of evening entertainment to brighten your Disney day. Over at Disney California Adventure, World of Color Happiness! transforms Paradise Bay into a kaleidoscope of fountains, lights, and music. Meanwhile, at Disneyland, the Tapestry of Happiness projections on the façade of “it’s a small world” add warmth and wonder to winter nights. You’ll also still find smaller touches of 70th celebration magic sprinkled throughout the parks.

And if you’re looking for a way to make your evening even more interactive, don’t forget that the Key to Disneyland lock stations will keep the fun going into the new year. This fun interactive quest will take you throughout Disneyland, hunting for hidden magic.

As you can see, Katherine, even right after the holiday season ends, you’ll still have a variety of ways to make your Disneyland evenings sparkle.

Here’s wishing your visit is full of cozy, pixie-dusted winter memories!
