Hiya, I wanted to ask how quick it is to get from Epcot to the MK? We are not intending to have a rental car so relying on the monorail but not sure what to do and I can get lost in a paperbag!

Hello, Yasmin! Thank you for visiting us from the UK with your question about park hopping at the Walt Disney World Resort!!

If you are planning to go to Magic Kingdom from Epcot, you can take the monorail, get off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), transfer to a connecting monorail and head over to Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to follow the signs so you do not get in the wrong monorail.

The monorail ride itself takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Keep in mind though that exiting the park, walking to monorail station, waiting in line, going through security, etc. adds to it so I would say, allow approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete the entire process.

I love the monorail. Taking it to go from one place to another or just for the sake of riding it is like riding one of the attractions! I get super excited and enjoy the view from up above!

Yasmin, I hope you find this answer helpful. If you need more guidance, please come visit us again. on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Sending you lots of pixie dust,

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
