Hiya planDisney! Disneyland has stopped offering (cheap) Popcorn Bucket refills .. .. Does WDW/DS still offer a cheap refill? Major concern because a bucket does take up some room in the baggage! Thanks!

Hi Sam, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

One of my favorite snacks at Walt Disney World is the hot, buttery popcorn!  I purchase a new popcorn souvenir bucket every vacation as I find it's a delicious, cost-saving snack.

Sam, I have some good news and bad news for you.  Let's start with the bad news to get that out of the way.  When you purchase a souvenir popcorn bucket from one of the carts at Walt Disney World theme parks, it is meant to be used for refills only during the length of your stay, as stated on the menu. The good news is, that popcorn refills are still available for a lower cost for the length of your stay when you purchase a popcorn bucket.  And even better news, if you are on a Disney Dining Plan, popcorn refills can be used as a snack.

In addition to the regular popcorn, my other favorite is the maple popcorn located in the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT.  Amazing popcorn and it is also eligible for lower-cost refills.

Since we are talking about popcorn, I can't let you go without mentioning the popcorn at the Karamell-Kuche, located in EPCOT in the Germany pavilion. If you like caramel, this is the place to visit for all kinds of snacks.  Although not included with the popcorn refills, this caramel-flavored popcorn is amazing and a treat to remember!

    Have a magical vacation, Sam!
