Hi Does Disney Port Orleans Riverside rooms has microwave and ref? Or can it be requested?

Welcome to planDisney Angelynn Paola. Thanks for visiting us with your question.

Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside is one of the most picturesque locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. When my family stayed here I was so surprised by the beautiful mornings with Spanish moss-lined walkways leading you down the Sassagoula River. While each room does have a mini fridge you will have to request a room with a microwave. There is a limited supply and is not guaranteed. If you are not able to secure a room with a microwave you will always be able to visit the Riverside Mill Food Court to use one there. If you do visit the food court and like some heat in your meal. Make sure you give the jambalaya a try, it was so good my kids tried it and left me walking to grab another order.

The resort right across the River houses arguably the best Mickey-shaped snack in Florida. Scat Cat’s Club - Café serves up beignets as fluffy and delicious as they come. You can pick from a couple of dipping sauces and there are sometimes seasonal options. Trust me this is worth a short visit to this location for a day that you are enjoying your resort.

Hopefully, this information is helpful. If you have any other questions about your visit stop by planDisney.com and we will be happy to help.

    Have a magical stay,
