Hiya, William! We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are here to make sure you have a spooktacular time roughing it in comfort at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort this year!
First of all, I am
dying to know what ideas you are brewing up for your frightfully festive costume for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Last year, tickets went on sale in mid-January, so I expect the
Disney Parks Blog to make an announcement in the near future. The devilish decor is a sight to be seen, but my favorite part of the evening is the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, which is led by the Headless Horseman, who gallops along the route before any floats appear. I suggest watching from the porch of the
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn in Frontierland.
There are self-service laundry locations at the comfort stations, however, irons are not available at the campsites. Even though this is a campground, you'll be able to benefit from many of the same perks offered to all
Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests. Your best bet is to bring your
dry cleaning to the front desk at the main check-in of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort by 9:00 AM, and your items will be returned the same day between 6:00 PM-9:00 PM. Walking to some regions of the resort can literally be a hike, so I highly recommend
renting a golf cart during your stay. That way, you won't feel
pressed for time!
I hope you have a magical vacation, David!
