Hi Maria!
It's great to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love to help with all sorts of Walt Disney World vacation questions!
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a wonderful resort to tour during your vacation. The grounds of the resort are breath-taking. White sandy beaches, lush greenery, and beautiful palm trees surround you from the moment you step off of the Monorail or land at the pier. I can easily spend a happy afternoon (or two!) there!
In general, the pool areas of each resort are not open to guests who are not staying at that particular resort. However, since you're looking to visit
Beaches Pool Bar & Grill and not swim, I would suggest simply finding a Cast Member and asking them to grant you access to the restaurant. While this may be up to their discretion, I don't think you would have any problems, especially if it is clear that you are not looking to use the pool itself. While you're there, be sure to enjoy a Sunshine Margarita for me! I wish I could enjoy one right now!
Another option at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would be to swing by the
Gasparilla Island Grill and pick up your lunch. This quick-service restaurant serves many great options and you can also do a mobile order! Grab your meal and head outside to the beautiful grounds to enjoy an al fresco meal. This might also be a great back-up plan if your plan to enjoy the Beaches Pool Bar & Grill doesn't work out!
I hope you enjoy great food and the great atmosphere at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Be sure to visit us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help with any additional planning details!
