Howdy, Brittney!
I am so glad you circled your wagon back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question! All your careful planning is sure to lead you along happy trails during your vacation at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
Parking at
Meadow Trading Post is limited, so tie up to this hitching post only when you are filling up your wagon. But feel free to park yourself in a rocking chair on the front porch! Parking at the front of the campground at the Reception Outpost should only be utilized by Guests as they check-in to the resort.
If you prefer to steer clear of those rootin', tootin' electric wagons, there is a complimentary bus system around the resort for use during your stay. There is even a stop steps from Meadow Trading Post. My son and I used these resort buses during our visit last summer and found the buses come frequently to each stop. Just be sure to give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes when using the buses. Hop on and ride to the Outpost Depot or Settlement Depot, both have access to the
bus and
water transportation to the parks!
After we returned from the day's adventures, my son and I loved ending our days around the campfire with
Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. For more campfire stories, pull up a seat and visit us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have, Brittney!
See ya real soon! Angie
