Hiya! We are DVC members, but we bought resale and don’t have all the membership perks. We are using our membership to stay at Bay Lake Tower in September and I was wondering if we could get into the Top of the World Lounge with just our room reservation?

Welcome back to planDisney, Meagan, and Welcome Home!

I love discussing all the incredible benefits of being a part of the Disney Vacation Club, especially with fellow Members! Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my favorite DVC Resorts. It has everything I could want- location, gorgeous views, modern theming, and whatever fantastic scent they use in the lobby. So let's take a look a Membership Extras.

In order to visit Top of the World Lounge- A Villian's Lair, you do need to present the Digital DVC Membership Card regardless of the Resort at which you are staying. Only Members who are eligible for Membership Extras, those who have purchased at least 150 Vacation Points directly from Disney Vacation Development, have access to a valid DVC Membership Card. So while this may not be the news you wanted to hear, I hope you still have a magical stay at Bay Lake Tower. When it is time for your visit both TRON Lightcycle / Run and Happily Ever After will be just steps away at Magic Kingdom Park.
