Hi Mary Ann! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
With standard admission tickets, the name on the ticket doesn't need to match the Guest. If you're entering the parks with a standard admission ticket, there's no need to make a change. Once the Guest is scanned in at the main entrance, a friendly Cast Member will take a quick picture that identifies the Guest as the user of that ticket. The photo will identify the Guest rather than the name.
However, if you have a ticket that requires the use of a government-issued photo ID for purchase and entry, the name needs to match. If that's the case, please call the
Tickets phone line. It's not a change you can make yourself, unfortunately. But a helpful Cast Member will assist you as best they can in making those adjustments. For example, the Anaheim Residents Deal, which is currently no longer available for purchase, requires a valid ID for each Guest at entry. If you have an Anaheim ticket with the wrong name, you'll need to call.
Your visit will be here before you know it! Check out the
Daily Events Schedule for an idea of what parades, fireworks, and entertainment to expect, as well as possible refurbishments. Schedules are subject to change and cancelation, but it'll help you plan your magical park day, filling it with all your wishes for the most perfect day ever.
I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
