we are having difficulty finding reservation availability for Disneyland for Friday September 20th. My wife and I have annual passes. That date is our 27th anniversary. Our daughter want to join us but no reservations for us.

Hi Colin! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I checked the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and there appears to be availability for both parks. However, I checked the Blockout dates for Magic Key holders, and it seems as though there are no reservations available at this time for your preferred park date for Magic Key holders. Reservation availability can be limited, and Halloween Time is a popular time to visit. It is possible for the parks to fill up. I'm sorry that seems to be the case for your visit, especially with it being your anniversary.

The earlier you make your reservations, the more likely you are to snag the day you want. But I would keep checking availability. People's plans change. When a Magic Key holder cancels their theme park reservation, another one becomes available. If you're diligent in checking, hopefully, you'll be able to grab a last-minute reservation. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! A little Pixie Dust probably wouldn't hurt your case either, so I'll put in a good word with a certain fairy.

You might also be able to get a last-minute dining reservation for an extra special anniversary celebration. My husband and I like to dine at Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park or Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa when we're marking a special moment. They both have divine food, service, and ambiance.

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. Here's to many more wonderful years together!
