Amy,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
For my family, the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is the #1
"Must Do!" event on every trip to Walt Disney World! When my girls heard that it was returning in time for our next visit they were thrilled! On a past trip, I was even lucky enough to be pulled on stage for some theatrics, and they still giggle about my uninspiring performance!
Any seat at the Revue is a good seat. The music carries well, and you can see the stage from just about anywhere in the theater. However, if you can swing it, I highly recommend bumping up to
Category 1 seating. While the entertainers do a great job of working the entire room, you just feel more like part of the show. You don't get an option to pick a seat within any given category, but don't worry, wherever you are seated you should be satisfied with the
rootin-est, tootin-est show in the West (or in Orlando, anyway!).
BONUS TIPBefore the show you often have some time to explore the resort area. If you can, visit the nearby
Settlement Trading Post. I have found a few unique souvenirs there that speak to our National Parks in a wonderfully nostalgic way.
Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
