Hi--We've been on the Disney Dream twice, but due to budget constraints, we're thinking of going on the Wonder for our son's 11th birthday. What does the Wonder have to offer that the Dream does not?

Larisa, welcome aboard! The Disney Wonder is an absolutely amazing ship that has so many different things to offer. Since you've been on the Dream twice, I'm so glad you've chosen to sail on a different ship. You'll have a really amazing experience!

My first Disney cruise was on the Dream too. Then we went on the Wonder. I was worried we'd be disappointed since it's a smaller ship, but boy was I wrong. We had an even more magical vacation on the Wonder than we did on the Dream. In fact, even though we've been on all four of Disney's ships, I really prefer the smaller ships because they seem more intimate and we really get to know the Cast Members better, and they make the trip so wonderful for us!

The Youth Clubs on the Wonder are different, so your son will have three new spaces to explore. Since he's turning eleven, he'll be able to visit the Oceaneer Club and Lab, and Edge. The spaces are totally different than on the Dream, with all different themes and some really fun different activities as well. He's going to have a blast enjoying new clubs!

As adults, my husband and I love Route 66, the nightclub district, where during the day, the whole family can join in on fun activities in Wave Bands, and at night we can enjoy adult time in the clubs while our kiddos have fun in their own clubs!

You'll love the different Broadway-style musicals at night in the Walt Disney Theatre that aren't offered on the Dream. Toy Story, The Musical is so much fun, and Disney Dreams is so entertaining and so sweet and touching!

There are different beautiful restaurants to enjoy too! The experience in Animator's Palate is different, and you'll love Parrot Cay and Triton's the two other main restaurants!

I really do think you'll enjoy the smaller, more intimate atmospheres on the Wonder. Our favorite servers and Cast Members of all the ships are on the Wonder! We choose to sail on the Wonder as often as possible! Have a great cruise!
