Hi, We're staying at Vero Beach Resort on October 31st - will there be any activities for Halloween and do we need to sign up for them beforehand (we arrive on 31st)? Many thanks

    Hello Ros!

You are in for a treat (no tricks, I promise!) when you arrive at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for Halloween! While I have only been able to visit this resort once, it is absolutely on my list to return to this beautiful beachside retreat. While winning Trivia Night was a highlight, by far the most interesting part of our visit was learning about sea turtle conservation. We journeyed out to the beach early one morning to visit with the Disney Conservation Cast Members and my sons were able to help mark and dig up sea turtle nests! We were especially lucky the following morning to watch a baby turtle released into the ocean. This resort is the perfect balance of relaxation and activity, with the legendary Disney customer service to top it off!

I spoke with a Cast Member at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for you, and she told me they are planning to continue the yearly tradition of trick-or-treating around the resort. If you have children in your travel party, you may want to pack them a costume for this event! There is no need to sign-up for this experience. Additionally, their usual daily activities, such as craft time, will have a spooky theme. The activities calendar is put out weekly and will be finalized and published the Friday or Saturday before Halloween. She stated that there is not a way to sign up for activities in advance, you’ll need to wait until you arrive. If you would like to call the front desk after that Saturday, they mentioned they can send you a copy of that week’s activities calendar via email. The number for the front desk can be found on the front of the resort’s homepage. I hope this helps with your planning, Ros. Please let me know if you have additional questions before your visit, we are here to help!

    Have a Magical Day!
