    Hi, We're planning our boys' first Disney trip for this October. I've been trying to map out our week and dining plans. We want to do a character dining lunch at Chef Mickey's. Which park will be easiest for us to hop from for that meal? Thanks!

    Hi Lindsey! Chef Mickey's is just a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom. In fact, you could even walk from the Contemporary Resort, where Chef Mickey's is located, to the Magic Kingdom in five or ten minutes. Chef Mickey's is a  really fun dining experience and a great way to meet the characters, however, it's generally only open for breakfast and dinner. (Lunch is occasionally served at Chef Mickey's during holiday weeks when park attendance is at peak levels, but it's not offered during the rest of the year.) Breakfast is served between 7 and 11:30 a.m., so for your October visit, you could book a late breakfast if your family prefers to eat closer to lunch time.
