Hi, We are visiting WDW in May and have booked the dining plan. We are not big breakfast eaters, but usually like muffins, fruit, etc. Can you use your counter service for purchasing muffins and fruit instead of eggs?

    Hi Jennifer,

I'm not a big breakfast eater either so always look for a lighter alternative, so to answer your question yes you can use a credit for eggs or fruit. At the food court there will be a little Disney Dining Plan logo next to the food items that are included. Have a look HERE at the DDP brochure which not only lists the participating restaurants but also gives details on what can be included for breakfast. Another idea though is to use your snack credits to buy a muffin or a piece of fruit, the general rule is any single serving food item under $4 counts as a snack, there are some exceptions so ask the server and again look for the DDP logo. This then saves your meal credit to be used at lunch.

What my family often does though is bring breakfast bars from home to eat for breakfast and then use our meal credit for an early lunch. Also we sometimes will grab a muffin, croissant or piece of fruit as our dessert for our dinner and if we're full save it for breakfast the next day.

    Hope that helps,

    Jo
