Hi Rajni! So glad you brought your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I’m so happy to hear you are planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort with your “big girl.” Are you counting down the days until your visit? I too have a 6-year-old and a toddler who have recently boycotted their strollers.
I will tell you there is a lot of walking involved when you visit any of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks. While getting your exercise in is a great thing, the walking may be a little much for your daughter at times. Rest assured, there are options when it comes to renting strollers at any of the parks including Disney Springs. Just visit the
stroller rental location at any of the parks when you’re making your way in for the day. There you can pay a one-day fee or if you choose to rent a stroller for multiple days and pay up front, you will pay a discounted rate.
Strollers can’t be removed from the parks but if you visit more than one park per day, you can just show your receipt to the cast member at your next destination and they will give you one you can use there!
When deciding what you will do with your princess, I suggest visiting
Disney’s Planning for Kids page. There you will find suggestions for attractions, Disney Resort hotels and even Theme Park Itineraries to help you plan your day.
Rajni, I hope this information helps you with your planning! Have a wonderful time!
Veronica
