Hi! We will be visiting Disneyland at the end of this month with our two and a half year old son. I'm having a tough decision on if we should get a three day or four day...any thoughts??? thank you! we are about a 10 min walk from Disney as well.

    Hi Christine,

I’m thrilled to infinity & beyond that you have a vacation planned to The Happiest Place on Earth at the end of the month! You are going to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Visiting the Disneyland Resort is going to be magical but it also means a lot of walking. Being that you are about a 10 minute walk to the parks, you may want to factor that in to your visit with some relaxation time at your hotel. Some time to put your feet up in the hotel or if they offer a pool and/or spa amenities, can always nice to enjoy in the middle of your Disney vacation so you don’t feel rushed.

We always try to enjoy 4 days at the parks and purchase a 4-Day Park Hopper Ticket to keep our options open. This way, if the crowds seem a bit high at one park, we can simply hop over to the other park to enjoy. With 4 days at the Disneyland Resort, you can enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and the magic while strolling through the parks. There are fantastic shows like Mickey and the Magical Map and Disney Junior - Live on Stage! that you won’t want to miss.

Having a lil’ Mouseketeer with you too, rushing is not fun, letting him have time to get his wiggles out in Mickey’s Toontown at Goofy’s Playhouse and at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail over in Disney California Adventure Park is a must-do. You may want to see if he is interested in visiting some Disney Characters too - some of these pictures with our littles at that age are priceless!

I hope this helps you. Please feel free to visit me again with any other planning questions you may have!

Wishing you the best adventure at the Disneyland Resort!
