Heigh-Ho Jennie,
So many of us were excited to see the re-opening of
Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans- French Quarter. Both of these moderate resorts are my go-to because of the details of artistry and flavors created at this special Home Away From Home. Guests truly experience some Disney Magic when staying here.
I have some magical news and some not-so-magical news. First the not-so-magical, currently the
Boatwright Dining Hall is still closed. We are all anxiously awaiting the announcement of its reopening date. The
Disney Parks Blog is a great place to follow along for further information. Guests, however, can still head next door to
River Roost to partake in a small lounge menu filled with similar southern flavors and libations, to tease the anticipation of some missed dining moments.
And I am happy to report
Riverside Mill Food Court is utilizing the
Mobile Food and Beverage Order found in your
My Disney Experience app. Before your arrival become comfortable navigating this feature. Guests can sign in from home, select the menu option in the lower right-hand corner and choose Mobile Food Orders. Select Create New Order and in the lower right-hand corner navigate the map to filter restaurants you are interested in checking out. This will help in making it a user-friendly experience for you and your family.
As a side-not and if you are up for a leisurely stroll make your way to
Scat Cat's Club-Cafe, located at
Disney Port Orleans- French Quarter, for the much-awaited return of Mickey Beignets. It is so worth it.
We look forward to Welcoming You Home and are happy you visited us at planDisney with your curiouser and curiouser inquiry. Safe travel and may your visit be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
