Hi Laura, and thanks for bringing your questions to planDisney.
Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a relaxing oasis with so much to do right at the resort (not to mention it has some of the best dining). I can’t think of a better place to spend 11 nights! So let’s get to your questions so you’re all set for your holiday in just a few days.
First off, chocolate soy milk can be found in many resort hotel quick-service locations, including
The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It’s less commonly found at the theme park quick-service locations, but there are a couple of places that currently sell chocolate soy milk, including
Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT. For quick-service locations, you can look at the menus in advance on the
My Disney Experience app. For table service restaurants, you may need to check in-person since not all beverages are always listed in the online menus.
If your little one is dairy-free, you might be interested to know that
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Hollywood Studios and
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom can make dairy-free milkshakes.
Now, let’s chat about breakfast! I believe you may be talking about
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is one of my favorite breakfasts at Disney World. It has such an incredible spread of American and African-inspired dishes! And the buffet is perfect for trying new foods. Boma typically has availability to join the
walk-up list in person or through the My Disney Experience app. But I usually recommend making advance dining reservations, especially if you want to eat at a specific time. You’re able to
cancel the booking for most restaurants up to two hours before the reservation time in case your plans change.
If you’re looking for a quicker breakfast, there’s The Mara quick-service location. I recommend
mobile ordering, especially during the morning rush! You can also walk over to
Sanaa at the neighboring
Kidani Village. In the morning, this restaurant serves a quick-service breakfast with unique dishes like an egg sandwich on naan bread, banana bread French toast, and a short rib hash.
I’m wishing you a magical stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge next week! And if you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
