Hi,we are travelling to orlando in July, off resort, and i'm wanting to book the desert dining party for July but the booking calendar says there are no dates available, only able to book until the end of may. Do they release more dates or is it full?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ruth! I’m so excited to see that you’re busy planning your summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for sending me your question about dessert parties!

It’s a win, win situation when you pair a firework viewing party with some of your favorite Disney sweet treats! The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase pairs the viewing of the memorable Illuminations: Reflections of Earth up with our Frozen friends, their favorite treats and an added special treat, a ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction! It doesn’t get much better than that!

Fear not, we’re still more than a few months away from your magical vacation and more dates for the parties have yet to be released. The parties tend to work a little differently and times won’t necessarily open 180 days before your visit.

I suggest checking for availability often and keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. You may see a mention of the fireworks parties there. It’s also a great place to keep track of all the happenings at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Keep in mind that you will still be able to make dining reservations 180 days before your visit. Whispering Canyon Café is a favorite at my house. Don’t forget to ask for some ketchup. You’ll thank me later!

Ruth, I’ve loved being a part of your planning. Please feel free to come back and see us with any other questions you may have!
