Hi! We are travelling from Australia for a Disney Wonder 7 night Alaska cruise departing 9th Sept. Where can we find if there are formal nights / pirate nights / semi formal etc so we know what to pack! Thanks heaps :)

    Ahoy there, Darren!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us another question; we love assisting other Guests with the details of their Disney Cruise Line vacations. You must have had a wonderful experience on your cruise from Sydney to Hawaii! I'm so glad you are making another trip aboard Disney Wonder.

I know you want to get your packing list in order, so I did a little research and found that you can expect the following during your cruise (schedules are subject to change, so check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you board):

    • Monday - Vancouver - Cruise Casual
    • Tuesday - At Sea - Formal Night
    • Wednesday - Glacier Day - Cruise Casual
    • Thursday - Skagway - Cruise Casual
    • Friday - Juneau - Cruise Casual
    • Saturday - Ketchikan - Semi-Formal Night
    • Sunday - At Sea - Cruise Casual
One of the special events during Alaskan cruises is the Freezing the Night Away party with Anna and Elsa. It is like a warm hug during your voyage! The party is scheduled for Wednesday, so plan to bring some Frozen-inspired attire to get in the spirit of things.

Since you have sailed aboard Disney Wonder, you know all about Tiana's Place, which is one of my favorite Rotational Dining venues. I always have a difficult time deciding which dessert to choose, so I often ask for two!

I hope these tips and information help you get packing, Darren. We hope to see you again here at planDisney!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon

A Land and Sea vacation combining an action-packed Walt Disney World Resort visit and a relaxing Disney Cruise Line voyage is my favorite way to do Disney.
