Hi! We are staying at the Yacht Club. Is it possible on the day of our check in to park at the resort and then walk to Epcot? How early can we park onsite?

Ahoy there Megan! I am so glad you navigated your way to planDisney to ask your question about staying at Disney’s Yacht Club.

One of my favorite trip memories is having an adult beverage while my children played in Stormalong Bay, the amazing pool that is shared by Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. This pool, plus the convenience of walking to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios make this resort a 10/10 in my book!

Once you arrive to your resort on your check-in day, you can park at your own resort or at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Since your resort is Yacht Club, that is super convenient for you to drop your bags with Bell Services, self-park, and walk to Epcot until your resort room is ready. This is a great plan! You also could plan to spend the day lounging in Stormalong Bay, should you change your mind about wanting to be in Epcot.

This also applies on your checkout day. You can keep your car parked at your resort if you plan to head to visit a Disney theme park for the day.

I hope you have a wonderful visit in March during The Most Magical Celebration on Earth for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

    Happy Traveling,
    Tracy

I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
