Hi, We are staying in a villa during our visit and I was wondering if there is any where in the park that we would be able to get groceries so that we are able to make our own breakfasts?

    Hi Jennifer,

Yes! Absolutely. You have touched on one of the many reasons that we decided to make the leap and become Disney Vacation Club members. Our picky eating daughters are guaranteed to eat a big, healthy breakfast. This is the only time of day when this is true. So we definitely always make sure that we have whatever we need to provide these important family meals, even on vacation.

You have a few options for your groceries. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can actually pre-order your items directly through your DVC Resort. Simply head over to the Plan Vacations Tab on the Disney Vacation Club Member website and scroll down to Pre-Arrival Checklist. There, you will find a section to Pre-Order groceries. Select your Resort, print the options list, make your selections, and fax the form back at least three days before your arrival. Your goods will be delivered to your Villa on the first day of your stay. It's fantastic!

If you would like more specific items, you might prefer a third-party grocery delivery service like GardenGrocer.com or WeGoShop.com. Their online ordering services are fairly simple to navigate. Choose your items and schedule a time for delivery. Your groceries will be delivered to Bell Services during you delivery window where they will be stored appropriately until you can accept a delivery to your Villa. It's really convenient and we have had great experiences.

Finally, you could always use a service like Amazon.com to mail items to your Resort in advance. Just keep in mind that there is a $5 per package fee for anything that arrives through the mail.

Come back and see us with any other questions, Jennifer!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
