Welcome Home Amy!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have just barely left the stage of highchairs and cribs, and you know what? I miss it sooo much! The chubby little hands and feet and the gurgles are some of the best things in the world. We traveled to Walt Disney World many a time when my babies were little, and the Resorts have always gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable.
One of the best things about staying at a Disney Vacation Club property is that you have all of the comforts and amenities that you are used to at home in a hotel! You will typically find a high-chair in the entryway closet of your villa. If one is not there, call the front desk, and they will gladly have Mousekeeping bring one up for you. When my twins were little, we always called for an additional one, and they were more than willing to accommodate!
In terms of
cribs, you can request one at arrival or call
Disney's Old Key West Resort before your stay to add it to your reservation. Most of the “cribs” are standard size Pack n’ Plays, but some larger cribs are available. The cribs come with a fitted sheet, but we would often bring a sheet from home for the “just in case” in the middle of the night!
While you are visiting the Parks with your babe, make sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. They are a delightful place to take a break, eat a snack or change a diaper.
Amy, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. In the meantime, I wish you a Magical vacation.
