Hi, We will be staying at fort wilderness during Halloween, I have little ones that are not fans of very scary Halloween decorations. Are decorations in fort wilderness not so scary as well ? Thank you

Hello there, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort is a spooky good time! The best example of this has got to be Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which offers Guests the opportunity to trick-or-trick (and more!) throughout Magic Kingdom! All the offerings at this event are family-friendly and should be perfectly fine for any Guest that is not a fan of scary events.

The same can be said for the decorations at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! Each year, Guests put out their best Halloween decorations throughout the campgrounds which makes for a fun time touring this resort. In my experience, I have never seen any truly scary decorations when staying at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort during the Halloween season. The majority of Guests put up Disney-themed decorations and fun, not-so-scary Halloween ornaments. So, everything should be perfectly suitable for your children!

Be sure to keep an eye out for special Halloween offerings throughout Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation! You’ll often be able to experience unique eats, entertainment, and shopping around this time of the year so keep your eyes peeled. You certainly won’t want to miss out on all of the fun stuff to come!

I hope this information will help you and your family have a not-so-scary time during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
