Hi, We will be staying in Disney 11/13/13 to 11/20/13. Will the parks be decorated for Christmas? Will the castle have the icicles? And will the gingerbread displays be up at the resort hotels? So excited to see anything Christmas at Disney!!!!

    Hi Michelle!

I'm right with you! Christmas decorations are beautiful, and combining those with WDW makes for a truly spectacular sight!

And, you're in luck! Disney World actually begins their holiday celebration early in November- right after Halloween, for the start of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This year, the party returns on November 8th, so you should see plenty of decorations during your vacation - including Cinderella's Castle all decked out in icicles. Also, you may want to consider attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom as one of your trip's final events. Not only are there special decorations and a holiday parade, it even snows on Main Street! Its a sight you don't want to miss!

The resorts do decorate for Christmas as well, but this typically happens a bit later in the month. I think you'll find that everything is decorated by the end of your trip at the very latest!

I hope you have a wonderful time enjoying the holiday spirit at Walt Disney World!
