Hi,We are staying at Coronado springs resort. We have kids (age 7 and 5).We are trying to see which park would be the best to spend New years Eve.Would like to know how difficult will it be to get transportation back to the hotel after new year celebration.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sankar!

How exciting that your family will be celebrating New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World Resort!  My family and I have been fortunate enough to ring in the new year at Walt Disney World several times.  We had an absolute blast and hope to do it again in the future.

Which park is best to celebrate at is rather subjective, as all four theme parks will have special events happening.  With children, I think I would recommend Magic Kingdom Park.  In my opinion, it will have the most family-friendly atmosphere.  In the other parks you will see stages for live music set up, and also some extra temporary bars with adult beverages.  At Magic Kingdom Park, you will not find any stands selling alcoholic beverages and the dance parties are more family-oriented.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will not have fireworks at midnight, but Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom Park will.  You will find the vast majority of Guests will head to the park exit immediately following the fireworks.  My recommendation is to remain in the park as long as possible.  Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot are both scheduled to remain open until 1:00 am, so plan to stay and enjoy an attraction or two before heading out to the buses back to your resort.  My family and I chose to watch Fantasy in the Sky fireworks from the back side of Cinderella Castle, near Pinocchio Village Haus.  When the show ended, we hopped right into the queue for Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid and boarded the attraction with no waiting at all.  By the time we left the park shortly after 1:00 am, we found the wait time for buses to be very manageable.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  Enjoy your visit, and a very magical start to 2020!
