Hi,we are staying at the Art of Animation Resort, I would like to know approximately how long it would take riding the bus to Magic Kingdom? Also, is there anyway to find out how long it takes to go to the different resorts for dinner or breakfast? Thanks!

    Hi, Sandy!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

From my experience, it takes about an hour to get from Disney's Art of Animation to Magic Kingdom Park. I also tend to budget an hour and a half to two hours to get from my resort to another resort. Depending on the resort's location, I'll plan to take a bus to a park or Disney Springs and hop onto a different resort's bus to make it to my dining reservations. To save time, I usually will plan an adventure in a park or at Disney Springs ahead of my meal so I don't use up time just riding on the Disney Transportation system

My biggest rule of thumb when it comes to getting from one spot to another is to give yourself ample time to get there. There's nothing more stressful than trying to rush from one spot to another. Walt Disney World Resort is across a wide area. Enjoy the time to sit and relax before your next adventure.

If you don't like the travel time, there's always the ability to catch a cab from your resort or from a park to get to your dining reservation. Most of the time, I'm a fan of using the free transportation!

    Have a magical visit!
