HI We are planning a trip in April 2010. We are caught between the WL Villas and the WL. We like the idea ofthe extra space in the Villa but were told they are far away? Can you tell me about how far the Villas are from the pool, boat launch and food?

    HI Lisa!

I hope you are starting to thaw out in the frozen Northeast!! Planning a Disney trip is a good way to at least THINK about being warm!!

I don't think you need to worry too much about distance from the main lobby, pool, and restaurants at the villas. The villas are located in a separate building than the main lodge, but it is VERY close by, and is connected by a covered walkway. In fact, to get to the bus area you'll be on that same walkway. Also located between the villas and main lodge are the arcade and kid's clubhouse area.

The villas also have their own pool, so if a walk (5 min or so) to the main pool seems too draining at the end of a long day, you'll be able to use that as well.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the villas due to the distance - you really won't regret your choice! The Wilderness Lodge & the Villas are beautiful! Its our favorite resort in all of Walt Disney World!

    Enjoy!
