    Hi, We are planning on being in FL from December 30 to Jan 4 and would like to visit the MK and AK during that time. Are those the two parks that would suit a 3 and 6 year-old best and if so, which dates should we come? Thanks!

    Welcome to the DIsney Parks Moms Panel!  Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation! Your little Mouseketeers are going to love experiencing the "Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time in just a few short weeks! 

    I think you have done an excellent job in choosing Magic Kingdom Park and DIsney's Animal Kingdom Park for your first trip!  In my personal opinion, Magic Kingdom Park has the most attractions geared toward little ones, so be sure to allow yourselves at least one full day to fully explore everything this iconic park has to offer! I do believe you will find Disney's Animal Kingdom Park to be a great choice for your children as well!  Disney's Animal Kingdom Park features beautiful landscaping, exotic animals, and entertaining shows. Be sure to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, and Finding Nemo - The Musical.

    The week between Christmas and New Year's Day is one of the most popular times of the year for guests to visit Walt DIsney World; therefore, crowd levels are traditionally very high during that week. Although it can be quite challenging to predict crowd levels with 100% accuracy, I would personally recommend visiting on January 2nd or 3rd. Depending on how many days you will be visiting the two theme parks, you may also consider visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Park on January 4th since the park usually closes earlier than the other theme parks.
