Hi, Lucy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. We love heading to Walt Disney World Resort in December for the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. In previous years, there have been Holiday Storytellers in the World Showcase Pavilions telling the various holiday traditions of that country while nearby kiosks offer foods and drinks. Each evening, the Candlelight Processional is held, featuring the Nativity Story as told by a celebrity narrator. Attending this event is a beautiful way to celebrate the holiday season and quite a popular tradition for many guests. In my opinion, the easiest (and most delicious!) way to see it is with the Candlelight Processional Dining Package. This package offers guests a delicious meal and then seating later that evening in a reserved section at a designated showing of Candlelight Processional.
Based on previous years' announcements, The Candlelight Processional Dining Package should be available around June or July. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for an announcement of exact dates and the dining locations that will be featured with this package. There are usually packages available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Table Service locations throughout Epcot. In recent years, dining locations at nearby Resort hotels have also offered the package. While this does provide lots of availability for guests, this is a very popular offering, so I recommend you watch closely for the Dining Package to be released and make your reservation as soon as possible!
I hope you have a magical day, Lucy. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted holiday.
